1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Drawing Hub and the public Drawing Hub website operated by GJC Engineering Solutions.
2. Information used by Drawing Hub
Depending on the features used, Drawing Hub may process account identifiers required for authentication, application access settings, project configuration information, and technical information necessary to provide the service.
3. Google Drive access
When a user chooses to connect Google Drive, Drawing Hub requests authorization from that user's Google Account. The current integration requests read-only access so the application can list folders, identify supported files, download files for viewing, and present project information from locations the user is already authorized to access.
Drawing Hub does not use this Google Drive authorization to edit, delete, move or share the user's Google Drive files.
4. Why read-only access is requested
Project drawing libraries may already exist in Google Drive in established folder structures before Drawing Hub is connected. Read-only access allows Drawing Hub to browse those existing folders and display supported engineering files without requiring the application to modify the user's Drive content.
5. Storage and caching
Drawing Hub may temporarily cache file metadata or locally accessed content where necessary to improve application performance or provide supported offline behavior. Project content remains subject to the permissions and controls of its source system and the user's device.
6. Google API data use
Drawing Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
7. Sharing of information
GJC Engineering Solutions does not sell Google user data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the application, such as authentication, hosting and cloud platform providers, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
8. User control and revocation
Users can stop using the Google Drive integration and may revoke Drawing Hub's authorization through their Google Account's third-party access controls. Revocation prevents future access through that authorization unless the user connects again.
9. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect application data. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security, and users remain responsible for protecting their account credentials and device access.
10. Project and third-party data
Project drawings and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners. Users are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to access project files connected to Drawing Hub.
11. Children's privacy
Drawing Hub is intended for professional engineering and construction use and is not directed to children.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Drawing Hub evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
